Is anybody there? ๐Ÿ˜

**Closed** The offer has been claimed, but I'll probably post another one in the not too distant future, so stayed tuned.

I'm beginning to wonder if anyone actually reads my scribbles.

The stats are depressing and I've yet to get a comment.

I don't mind lurkers. I often lurk myself. But I always tick Like or a reaction button just to let the person know someone's been there.

I was thinking about this as I was dropping off to sleep last night, and I came up with a cunning plan.

The first person to leave a comment* on this post with receive a free card reading**.

*You must be 18 or older to apply. Leave your question, and you must have a question, in the comments and tell me whether you'd prefer I use tarot or playing cards.

** I will pull 5 cards for your question and post the reading here on the blog. In addition, I will answer one follow-up question if needed. I reserve the right to decline a request, and I will not read on a question that should be addressed by a doctor/solicitor/etc.

  1. I certainly read your blog Judy. It's innovating and exciting. I'll be a lot more proactive in the future letting you know I'm here.

    1. My pleasure. I have been entertain the idea of creating a revolutionary deck of playing cards doing away with the French/German symbols. The 32 cards have been drawn up in a rough form and a LWB to go with the cards is 50% completed.
i have quotes in making it look professional which are very pricey.
My question to the cards is: Is this project going to be financially viable?
I don't have a preference on what cards you use.

    2. Okay! I won't be able to do this until the weekend. I hope you don't mind. I think I'll use playing cards - you might see an interesting correlation between my cards and yours. :)

    1. Aww, thank you Mary, and thanks for leaving a comment. Seeing as I already knew Andrew from "around" ;) would you like a reading too?

    2. PS. I won't be offended if you decline. I usually decline offers of readings - I can rarely think of anything to ask about. :)

  4. I am here. I read through an rss feed reader. I also find it difficult to comment under this google account. It took me 10 minutes to be able to log in correctly and post this. Le sigh!

    1. ERMAHGERD! Jase! I'm so honoured. I had no idea. ๐Ÿ˜Š
Why the hell haven't you posted anything recently?! LOL!

    3. I appreciate it. Unfortunately, logged in seems to be the only way to get a comment through. I've posted three replies to this, including one within a few minutes after your previous comment; and none of them have appeared. Unless they didn't pass some moderation?

I certainly appreciate the effort to make things easier, though! :)

    4. As for why I haven't posted, there are two main reasons.

One is that I felt like I wasn't adding much to the cartomancy world, which in some ways has become as polarized as US politics. Which is a topic itself, but not one I have the energy to address in public.

The other is that I'm not a social media kind o' guy, and so many people want to get info in brief snippets via social media. I'm mainly thinking of the short blurbs you'll see on Facebook — which I dislike for its privacy policies — or photos with minimal words on Instagram, which I tried but it didn't really fit my style.

I do have some new ideas, so maybe I'll write more soon. But I'm not promising! ;)

Thanks for asking. I know you probably weren't expecting an answer, but I enjoyed being able to share my thoughts. (A sign that perhaps I should be writing again...)

    5. Nothing in the spam folder and nothing to review that I can find. Maybe the amendment isn't retrospective and only applies to future posts. ๐Ÿคจ

True, I wasn't expecting an answer, lol, but I'm pleased you did. I blog to share my thoughts. I always hope I'll connect with some like-minded individual. Or that someone might find a grain of information or inspiration in my witterings.

I look forward to more posts from you, but as I myself am a proponent of Blogging Without Obligation, I won't hold you to anything. ๐Ÿ™‚
