Random Reading - #58

For anyone who's new to my "Random Readings" (hello!), these represent a weekly-ish message for whoever needs to see it, whenever they happen to see it.

House – Debasement – Lover (man) – Sacrifice – Child of the house

The house is either literally in need of repairs, or figuratively, things are falling apart at home. Because of the presence of the Lover, I'll assume the latter. He may represent an obsession rather than a person, but in either case it's having a detrimental affect on those you care about. Give him/it up or lose your family.


La Facile Sibilla Regionale, “Easy Regional Sybil”, published by Dal Negro, is based on one of the sets of regional meanings of Italian playing cards. The playing card insets are Neapolitan, but I've had a look at Neapolitan meanings on a few websites, and they don’t tie up.

Staves – Ace: Love, 2: Meeting, 3: Relationship
Cups – Ace: House, 2: Agreement (Accommodation), 3: Triumph
Swords – Ace: Angel, 2: News (Direct), 3: Journey
Coins – Ace: Wheel of Fortune, 2: Money (A Little), 3: Money (A Lot)
